Ramirez Residence
Creating Flow and Function in a Townhouse Kitchen
The Ramirez residence’s U-shaped kitchen felt disconnected from the rest of the home, with a sink positioned in the peninsula, a stove on the back wall, and the fridge isolated across the room. To open up the space, we removed a large storage closet that previously blocked the flow to the backyard door.
By repositioning the stove and sink along the back wall and moving the fridge to the former stove location, we achieved a more cohesive layout. This change allowed for the addition of a generously sized island with ample storage and seating space. The final touch was the installation of beautiful quartz countertops and an undermount sink, combining elegance with durability. This reimagined kitchen design brings both style and functionality to the Ramirez family’s everyday life.
